A very long wait but worth it. Food delicious and authentic. Eccentric staff add to the whimsical character.

A papadum and bowl of raita is a lovely welcome gesture.

I have enjoyed the goat curry, dahl, eggplant and potato curry and roti and asked for the curries to be hot which they have been.

Good service. A little pricey compared to other Indian restaurant, but it a nice and clean decor. Food was flavoursome. Naan bread was very large and filling. I plan to return to try done different dishes on the menu.

I have been for lunch 3 times. The curry is excellent.... authentic and not westernised. Good amounts. Plenty of meat in the dishes unlike several other Indian restaurants in Hobart. Not cheap but I can get several meals out of one serving. I have not ordered the lunch special but off the menu.

Went in for the first time last week. Staff were very friendly, particularly nice to my four year old son, asking him if he wanted more pappadums. The raita had a nice fresh mint taste, simple but very well done. I had hot chicken vindaloo, which had a good balance of heat and flavour. My wife had a chicken korma, which was also very nice. I had a plain naan and my wife and son had garlic and cheese naan. The servings of rice, meat and naan were all generous, my wife didn't quite finish hers and I was very satisfied after mine. Pricing was very reasonable. Usually I don't leave reviews for restaurants, but I've eaten quite a bit of Indian around Hobart and was impressed enough here to take the time to let other people know. I will be back to try the other curries, and don't doubt that they will be just as good. Very good food, good service and a reasonable price- if you haven't tried it yet, it is well worth it.
